The Radiation Alert Observer software is used to collect and log data, and perform statistical analysis on information from radiation detectors. This software read in counts per minute (CPM), and counts per second (CPS). It collects alpha and beta particle, and gamma ray and x-ray counts in ionizing radiation detection. Information is displayed in a graph form, and on digital and analog on-screen meters. Data can be saved and printed in various ways, including in a spreadsheet format. Dwell/count time can be manually adjusted for each point on the graph. Length of time for the count can also be manually set. On-screen meters have adjustable settings, including a selectable alarm in CPM. There are visual and audio indicators, and the meter click can be played through PC speakers. The Observer software comes with a one-year limited warranty.
